£85 every four weeks is 85 × 13 / 12 = £92.0833… a month, displayed as £92.08. Thirteen £85 bills total £1,105.
Our model uses a 52-week year, which is slightly shorter than a calendar year. It helps compare rates; it does not predict exact invoice dates or part-period refunds.

Good questions.
Straight answers.
Is four-weekly the same as monthly?
No. Four weeks is 28 days. A calendar month is longer, and there are 13 four-week periods in a 52-week year, not 12. A four-weekly price has to be converted before you compare it with a monthly price.
How many four-week bills are in a year?
Thirteen, if you treat a year as 52 weeks. Twelve four-week bills cover 48 weeks, which is about a month short of a year.
What if the store bills every 28 days?
That is the same interval as four-weekly. Use the four-weekly setting in the calculator. It is not the same as a calendar-month direct debit.
